👥 Chaperone Policy

Patient-Requested Chaperones

We are committed to supporting your comfort and dignity. If you’d like a chaperone present during your consultation:

  • Let the receptionist know when you arrive, or

  • Inform your clinician before the consultation begins

Clinician-Initiated Chaperones

A clinician may also request a chaperone be present for:

  • Clinical appropriateness

  • Safety reasons (for both the patient and practitioner)

We aim to maintain a respectful, safe, and supportive environment at all times.

We welcome your feedback — both positive and negative — as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.

Our Commitment:

  • All feedback is taken seriously

  • Your care will never be impacted by raising a concern

  • You are encouraged to share feedback on any aspect of our service

Complaints Procedure:

  • You’ll receive an initial response within 24 hours

  • A final reply will be issued within 28 days

  • If your complaint is upheld, we will provide a written apology and detail any corrective action taken

  • All complaints are treated fairly, sensitively, and impartially

You can include a third party in the complaint process. If you’re not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate the issue to a supervisory body such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
